Adult Bible Study

Adult Bible Study is typically is generally a weekly series which focuses on a portion of the Bible or a topic of interest to participants. Bible Study is held between Sunday morning worship services at 9:20am.

Sunday School

Sunday School provides children and youth with a fun and welcoming opportunity to learn about Jesus and what he did for us. It is held between Sunday worship services at 9:20 am.

Bible Information Class

Bible Information Class provides a basic overview of Christian doctrines and beliefs. It is perfect for those considering membership, those who just want to know what Lutherans believe, or those looking for a refresher course in Biblical teachings and Lutheran doctrine. Christian Book Club

Members of the Christian Book Club select books which will generate uplifting discussion to read and converse about in fellowship with fellow believers.

Music Ministries

The Adult Choir regularly beautifies Zion’s worship with God’s gift of music. Adult choir meets regularly each week for choir practice. Handbell Choir provides another opportunity to glorify our God through music.

Preschool

Zion offers a 3 and 4-Year Old Preschool program as well as Extended Care. More information is available here…

20s-30s Group

 

Christian Fellowship is available to young adults through the 20s-30s group, which meets regularly for Bible Study and other activities. Contact Pastor Krause for more information visit the Young Adults Facebook Page.

Youth Group

Women of Zion

Women of Zion meet regularly for Christian fellowship and to perform service work for the congregation.

Leadership

Zion’s Church Council consists of the Congregational President, the Vice President, the chairmen of several Boards created by the church constitution, and two at-large members. All council members are elected by the voters of the congregation.

Boards include:

  • Board of Elders
  • Board of Property
  • Board of Discipleship
  • Board of Outreach
  • Board of Education

Our two pastors, a corporate secretary and a financial secretary also serve as advisory members to the Council.
